Privacy policy
Last updated: 9 June 2026
Treat The Soul ("we", "us") is a craft drinks business (eenmanszaak) based in Diemen, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 97852589. This policy explains what personal data we collect through treatthesoul.nl, why, and the rights you have. We only collect what we need, and we never sell your data.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, the type of enquiry, and the content of your message.
- Automatically: our hosting and security providers process limited technical data, such as your IP address and browser type, to run the site and protect it from abuse.
We use no advertising or analytics trackers.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- To read and respond to your enquiry, and to take any steps you ask for towards a possible business relationship. Basis: our legitimate interest in responding (and, where a relationship develops, steps taken at your request before a contract).
- To keep the website secure and working. Basis: our legitimate interest.
Who processes it for us
- A hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) — hosting, content delivery, and bot protection (Turnstile).
- An email provider (Resend) — delivering the messages sent through the contact form.
Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not share your data with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
Email updates
If you subscribe through our site, we collect and store your email address so we can email you about product availability and our launch. Basis: your consent, which you give when you subscribe and can withdraw at any time.
Our email provider (Resend) sends these updates and hosts the subscriber list on our behalf. Some account data and delivery logs may be processed in the United States, under appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email we send. We do not share or sell your email address.
Cookies
We use no tracking or advertising cookies. Our bot-protection tool (Cloudflare Turnstile) may set a strictly necessary token to tell humans from bots when you submit the form; it is not used to track you.
How long we keep it
No longer than necessary to handle your enquiry and any relationship that develops from it. Where information becomes part of our business records (for example, an order or invoice), Dutch law requires us to keep it for seven years, after which we delete it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or restrict your personal data, object to its processing, or receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, reach us through our contact page. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
